Predominately, I've worked with AIX, HP-UX and Linux; however, I have also worked with IRIX, Tru64/OSF1, Solaris and various other flavors of UNIX/Linux - virtualization/clustering. Currently, I'm working as a Sr. UNIX System Administrator for HLC, but my previous experience includes IBM and HP. I was responsible for 1,000+ servers at IBM and over 300 at HP. Current Responsibilities - Sr. UNIX System Administrator

System Administration on Linux, HP-UX, AIX Power7, AIX Power6 and AIX Power5 servers in Production, DR, QA, Development and Staging environments.

Virtualization AIX Power7 and AIX Power6 using HMC (V7R7.4) that configured portions of their virtual processor and memory resources to provide capacity to other LPARS.

Firmware upgrades and updates for frames.

PROXMOX and Debian Linux Virtualization.

HMC Upgrades and new installs.

Apply fixes and patches to AIX LPARS, Linux and HP-UX servers to current level.

Created and configured logical partitions (LPARS) and added resources using HMC.

February 1996 - July 2002, Sr. UNIX Sys Admin, US West Comm., Denver, CO Senior UNIX System Administrator responsible for testing and upgrading a MC/Service Guard Cluster consisting of 6 HP K580's. Instructed 25 staff members in MC/Service guard. Installed and configured a MC/Service Guard Cluster running 10 packages within the cluster. Optimized all of the servers within the cluster for MC/Service Guard and Oracle. Operating system hardware and software upgrades.
